Independence Day in the Golden Triangle

Mississippi State will be closed Friday for the July 4th holiday. There is still something to do in the Golden Triangle to celebrate the holiday.
The Columbus Air Force Base will be hosting ‘Fireworks on the Water’ Friday, July 4th. The event is free to the public and gates open at 4pm. It will be held at the east bank of the Stennis Lock and Dam.
There will be local bands, food, and activities for children. Those who plan to attend are encouraged to carpool since parking will be limited.
